Listening to the song. Again and again. The spell it has on me.
Rain in the moonlight. Steady drumming of my heart.
Unbroken humming. Sweet breaths of sleep creep under the door.
Alone at last. Curling into the sacred corner of the night.
To be awake. To be still. To be free.
To rise and soar.
And remember no more.
Hold me in soft soulful tones.
Come dawn.
With gentle raindrops.
Wash away today.
And after the storm,
I run and run as the rains come
And I look up, I look up,
on my knees and out of luck,
I look up.
Night has always pushed up day
You must know life to see decay
But I won’t rot, I won’t rot
Not this mind and not this heart,
I won’t rot.
And I took you by the hand
And we stood tall,
And remembered our own land,
What we lived for.
And there will come a time,
you’ll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

I needed to hear those words right now.
And there will come a time you’ll see with no more tears.
Beautiful.Thankyou.xx
So glad you liked them, Deby. Lots of love xx
This is beautiful. Have you been acquainted with the sublime Swell Season? If not, please look up Strict Joy. This reminds me a lot of Glen Hansard. Man I love his work…never seen anyone better live (and unplugged to boot). xx

Twitchy, I know Swell Season well. Yes, amazing. Glen Hansard used to front a band called The Frames – loved their work as well. When did you see him play? Now that you’ve told me about Once being a Broadway musical, I would love to see it.
The night is so special. Such sadness and melancholy, but hope and optimism for the new day. I might just adore you a little bit.
